Easter Beer

Spring is in the air, and so approaches the annual Easter Beer Hunt...

Through the years, actual Easter Beer Hunt brews have been created.  Always in very limited quantities, and always by "Co-King Fred," these beers were all brewed from the cave water that flows out of Goochland Cave.

In honor of this year's Beer Hunt, I thought I would post a couple of pictures of Easter Beers from days gone by..

The first picture is also the first brewed Eater Beer.  The year was 1992, and the brew was "St. Larry's Holy Lager."  The label has the patron saint of the Beer Hunt, with his carbide lamp and halo, on a bat shaped background.

It was a decent brew, but made all the better by the fact that it was consumed in the mouth of Goochland Cave.  Hail Larry!!!
