My buddy sent me a text to ask me if I had seen the new commercial that featured a Misfits song...
WHAT ? ! ... A Misfits song in a commercial ? ! ...
Turns out that the song "Where Eagles Dare" is being used to promote Sailor Jerry rum.
I had always assumed that Glenn Danzig owned the right to the old Misfits catalog, or at least partial ownership. If so, this is pretty surprising that he would sell the rights. It makes me wonder who really does own the rights. I will de doing some investigating into that.
